Hyderabad: Alleging irregularities in the e-auction of Kokapet lands, TPCC president A Revanth Reddy submitted a memorandum to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in New Delhi demanding a thorough probe into the auction.

Alleging that there were irregularities in the e-auction of Kokapet and Khanamet plots, the TPCC president said the State Government suffered a loss of about Rs.1,000 crore.

On behalf of the Congress, a memorandum was submitted to the CBI chief demanding a probe into the auction. In the written complaint, action was sought against the Government officers involved in the auction, he said while addressing the media in New Delhi. There was a provision in the law for CBI to conduct a probe against IAS officers and government agencies, if they were involved in any irregularities, he said.

He further accused the BJP and TRS of having an unholy alliance in the State. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay’s allegations about rampant corruption in the State were unfounded.

Meanwhile, TPCC vice president Mallu Ravi on Thursday inspected the site in Gajwel where the Congress party was organizing its Dalit Girijan Dandora on September 17.
