Medak: Some unidentified persons allegedly mixed some poison in Pandya Tank near Ramayampet in Medak district resulting in the death of fish. A huge large number of fish were seen floating dead on Thursday morning.

The fishermen society complained to Fisheries department officials and police officials and sought action. They alleged that Rs 10 lakh worth fish died due to poisoning of the tank water. Fisheries department officials have collected water samples from the tank.
