Last chance for customers to avail OTS scheme to pay water bills till Oct 31: HMWSSB
The water board said the government has announced the OTS scheme to pay long pending water bills and if the users pay the principal amount, they get concession on late fee and interest
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) Managing Director, Ashok Reddy on Tuesday said the last chance to avail the OTS scheme is till October 31 and urged the consumers to take advantage of the opportunity.
In a press release issued here, the water board said the government has announced the OTS scheme to pay long pending water bills and if the users pay the principal amount, they get concession on late fee and interest.
“This is a good opportunity to clear the bad debts that have accumulated for a long time. The OTS scheme, which started on October 1, will be valid till the October 31,” Ashok Reddy said.
Payment can be made through water board offices, MeeSeva, AP Online Centers, Phone Pay, Google Pay, Paytm, NEFT, RTGS, BPPS, water board official website or Line Men through online mode. By scanning the provided QR Code, users can know their dues, amount to be paid, concession and other details.
