Hyderabad: MLRIT chairman Marri Laxman Reddy felicitated State boxer Nikhat Zareen at the campus, on Friday.

The Nizamabad boxer recently won the gold medal in the senior nationals and has booked a spot in the Indian team for the upcoming world championship. Laxman Reddy congratulated the boxer and said, “She not only won a gold medal in the 52kg category but also emerged the best boxer of the tournament. She is an asset to the State and the country. We will do our bit in helping her achieve more laurels for the country and for the State.”

Marri Rajashekhar Reddy also thanked her for choosing MLRIT to study MBA and said they offered her a free seat and will help her financially in the future, added Rajashekhar Reddy.
