Hyderabad: Lal Bahadur Stadium defeated Kurnool 23-20 in the final to clinch the inaugural Ibrahim Khan Memorial handball tournament that concluded at Lal Bahadur Stadium on Sunday.
Hyderabad Handball Club outplayed Andhra Pradesh 24-16 to take the third spot.
State Sports Minister Srinvas Goud, SATS chairman A Venkateshwar Reddy and A Jagan Mohan Rao, president of Handball Federation of India were the guests of honours on the final day.
