LCI Nirmal unit brings respite to cardiac patients

Mantri Srinivas Gupta, president of LCI Nirmal chapter said that a health camp was being organized at Lions Bhavan in the district headquarters on every Wednesday.

Nirmal: Members of Nirmal town’s Lions Club of International (LCI) unit brought respite to 260 patients of cardiac diseases by providing treatment for free in the past four weeks by associating with hospitals of the town and Nizamabad. They provided medical investigations and drugs to 60 patients here on Wednesday.

Mantri Srinivas Gupta, president of LCI Nirmal chapter said that a health camp was being organized at Lions Bhavan in the district headquarters on every Wednesday. He requested the people of the town and dwellers of neighboring villages to utilise the facility. He added that the initiative was being held with the help of Dr Narendra Omkari of Pragati Hospital, Nirmal.


The president further said that the patients of cardiac diseases were shifted to Hyderabad and Nizamabad for undergoing angiogram investigations provided by the unit for free. LCI Nirmal zone chairman K Ganga Reddy, District Chairman P Ganga Reddy, district additional treasurer Kishore, former regional chairman Srinivas Rao, members Narsaiah, Naveed and Laxminarayana Goud were present.
