Hyderabad: Whether it is learning to play a guitar or piano or just looking at improving our singing skills, we are all music lovers in one way or the other.

However, the pandemic has also pushed us to explore our creative side in every way possible and music learning has gained traction during these testing times. To provide the perfect platform for music lovers and connect teachers with students, a Hyderabad-based entrepreneur has come up with Muzigal.

An online music learning platform founded by Dr Lakshminarayana Yeluri is all set to democratise music education by connecting the untapped music teaching talent with the right kind of learners – beyond geographic boundaries.

At the start of the pandemic, Dr Yeluri – who is passionate about music and entrepreneurship – realised that many want to learn music but do not have access to the right kind of teachers. While on the other hand, many music teachers were passionate about teaching but were losing out on students due to limited physical interactions.

“That is when I thought of starting an online platform only for learning music and the biggest advantage with our platform is that there is no dearth of choices,” Dr Yeluri told ‘Telangana Today’.

Founded in 2020, Muzigal offers on-demand live classes and also helps students fulfill their music aspirations and prepare them to clear Trinity, Rock School, or Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) grade examinations. It also offers classes to adults who want to pursue music as a hobby through its customized learning plans. On the other hand, the platform also helps professionals and teachers with full-stack earning and allows them the convenience of teaching online, making their schedules, setting their rates, and teaching global clientele.

“We offer a wide range of music learning from instrumental to vocal in classical, western, and popular genres. It includes vocals like Carnatic, Hindustani, Western, popular songs, while in strings we provide training in Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Veena, Sitar, Violin, Ukulele. In keys, we have classes in Piano, Keyboard, and Harmonium, and percussion, we have drums, Tabla, and Mrudangam, and wind, we have Flute and Saxophone,” informs Dr Yeluri.

So, the next time you want to take a break from your schedule and tap into your creative brain then you know Muzigal is the place to go!
