Legislators thank KTR for announcing medical college in Ramagundam
The legislators along with Singareni employees have appealed to the Minister to allocate 25 percent seats in the medical college to the children of Singareni employees.
Hyderabad: MLA Balka Suman and MLA Korukanti Chander and Singareni Employees Unions have thanked Industries Minister KT Rama Rao for announcing a medical college in Ramagundam.
The legislators along with Singareni employees have appealed to the Minister to allocate 25 percent seats in the medical college to the children of Singareni employees.
The move to set up medical college in Ramagundam comes in the wake of MLC K. Kavitha, TGBKS leaders and Transport Minister P. Ajay Kumar’s request to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the past.
The Minister assured that the plea to allocate 25 percent seats to Singareni employees children in the medical college will be taken up with the Chief Minister.
Further, the Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham leaders informed to the Minister that due to spelling mistakes and minor mistakes in the certificates issued to the employees children, they were facing lot of problems. They urged the Minister to initiate measures for correcting the mistakes and facilitate in youth getting the jobs.
The Minister assured that he would discuss the matter with Singareni management, besides instructing the Managing Director to respond positively.
