Hyderabad: The trade licence of a Toyota showroom in Uppal has been suspended by the State Transport Department for not issuing a Temporary Registration (TR) number for a vehicle even two months after the date of car delivery.
A Naresh, the person who lodged the complaint with the Transport Department, told the media here that he had purchased a Toyota Innova Crysta from the showroom in Uppal November 2021. His vehicle was hypothecated and delivered to him without any registration documents, he said.
“Since then, I am running behind the showroom management for a TR number but they turned down my request multiple times citing different reasons,” he said.
Naresh also said that he took the help of social media and his struggle to get a TR number was a tough one. “I thank lawyer Sunkara Naresh for helping me get the TR Number and for ensuring action against the showroom,” he said.
