Hyderabad: Hyderabad on Friday woke up covered in a thick blanket of clouds.

According to the India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, this is due to a trough running from the cyclonic circulation associated with low pressure area over north interior Tamil Nadu to north coastal Odisha across the coastal Andhra Pradesh.


A few localities in the city have recorded very light drizzle. Area surrounding Monda Market in Secunderabad received a rainfall of 2.3 mm till afternoon. Weather forecast look at city witnessing a generally cloudy sky accompanied with light rain in a very few areas for the next two days.

Due to the thick cloud cover, the temperatures in the city have also dropped.

As per the IMD-H, the maximum temperature in the city on Friday, recorded at 2 pm, was 26.4 degree Celsius, whereas the lowest temperature recorded was 20.5 degree Celsius. It is expected that the minimum temperature in the city will be from 19 degree Celsius to 21 degree Celsius.

Telangana State Development Planning Society warns of rainfall upto 15.6 mm till November 15.
