Light rains lash parts of Asifabad, Nirmal and Mancherial districts

Several districts in northern Telangana, including Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal and Mancherial, experienced light to moderate rainfall on Monday night.

Mancherial: Parts of Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal and Mancherial districts received light rains on Monday night.

According to the weather report on the website of Telangana Development Planning Society, Asifabad saw an average rainfall of 21 mm. Wankidi mandal recorded the highest rainfall at 46.1 mm, followed by Kerameri which had 36.9 mm of rainfall. Lingapur, Jainoor, Rebbena, Sirpur (T) and Bejjur witnessed anywhere between 20 mm and 32 mm of rainfall.

Nirmal and Mancherial districts registered average rainfall of 11.3 mm and 10.9 mm respectively. Dilawarpur mandal of Nirmal district saw the highest rainfall of 20 mm, while Thanur, Narsapur (G), Sarangapur, Nirmal, Soan, Laxmanachanda, Mamada, Pembi, Kaddampeddur, Dasturabad mandals recorded varying showers. Bellampalli mandal in Mancherial district recorded the highest rainfall at 27.7 mm.
