Hyderabad: Hyderabad enjoyed a pleasant afternoon on Saturday, with no rains in the city. The maximum temperature recorded in the city on Friday was 32 degree Celsius, whereas the lowest minimum temperature was 22.5 degree Celsius.
According to the forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society, due to the low pressure area over Bay of Bengal moving northwestwards, the city is likely to receive light to moderate rain at few places for the next two days. The maximum temperature in the city during the period is expected to be between 30 and 32 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be in the range 21 to 23 degree Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued an Orange alert for a few districts of Telangana, including Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Peddapalle, Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Mulugu for the next two days. A few other districts, including Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Warangal Rural, Jangaon and Khammam have been issued a Yellow alert for three days.
