Light to moderate rainfall recorded across erstwhile Khammam district

Several mandals in the erstwhile Khammam district received light to moderate rainfall over the past 24 hours. Cherla recorded 20 mm of rain, while multiple areas in Khammam and Kothagudem districts experienced light showers as monsoon activity increased.

Khammam: Many mandals in the erstwhile Khammam district witnessed light to moderate rainfall during the past 24 hours.

In Kothagudem district, Dummugudem, Tekulapalli, Aswapuram, Manuguru and Pinapaka received light rainfall, while Cherla recorded moderate rainfall of 20 mm. In Khammam district, Enkoor (11.5 mm), Yerrupalem and a few other areas received light rainfall during the past 24 hours.


On Thursday, Kamepalli, Enkoor and Vemsoor in Khammam district received light rainfall. In Kothagudem district, Yellandu, Tekulapalli, Kothagudem, Sujatha Nagar and Chunchupalli received light rainfall, while a few other areas witnessed very light rainfall.
