Hyderabad: Premium agave spirits brand Loca Loka has launched Season 1, a six-week programme celebrating Hyderabad’s creative communities, local enthusiasts and distinctive subcultures. Co-founded by actor Rana Daggubati, entrepreneur Sree Harsha Vadlamudi and composer Anirudh Ravichander, the brand is bringing a series of invitation-only experiences to the city.
Rather than organising a single launch event, the programme will unfold over six weeks, with local artists, tattooists, collectors, coffee enthusiasts and sports communities hosting individual chapters. Loca Loka will bring agave-based spirits to these gatherings.
The planned experiences include Frame & Art, showcasing Hyderabad’s hand-painted shop signs alongside artist-painted bottles; Agave Recovery, combining Pilates, portraits and a cocktail brunch; and Pickleball, featuring a local league. Other events include Loca Ink, Loca Sole, Loca Time, Objects of Affection and Loca Brew, exploring tattoo art, sneaker culture, watches, personal collections and coffee.
The programme will culminate in Road 45: The Homecoming, a finale spread across multiple venues on Road No. 45. A social media treasure hunt, titled #TheGreatLocaHunt, will invite participants to follow clues about a missing bottle, with the mystery set to conclude at the finale.
Daggubati said the initiative celebrates people whose dedication to their passions often goes unnoticed. Vadlamudi said the six-week format was designed to build trust among Hyderabad’s premium consumers through community-led experiences rather than a single launch night.
Loca Loka debuted in the United States and Southeast Asia in 2024 before entering India in November 2025. After expanding to Bengaluru in March 2026, the brand is now bringing the programme to Hyderabad. According to the company, its Blanco and Reposado expressions have won medals at competitions in San Francisco, New York, Miami and Denver. The UAE is its next planned market, while aged expressions and limited editions are in development.
