Lockdown being implemented strictly: Telangana DGP
DGP inspected areas of Kukatpally Housing Board and surroundings along with Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar
Hyderabad: Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy on Tuesday said the lockdown was being implemented strictly across the State with the public extending their support.
“The lockdown is being implemented in the interest of the people and their health. Lockdown is the only solution to control the spread of the virus and people should not come out of their houses without valid reason,” he said, after inspecting areas of Kukatpally Housing Board and surroundings along with Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar.
The DGP later visited areas in the old city and reviewed the enforcement of the lockdown along with Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar. He visited Shah Ali Banda, Santoshnagar and IS Sadan. Gajurao Bhupal, DCP (South) was also present.
