Lockdown extended for 10 days in Telangana, relaxation extended to 6 pm
Shops and business establishments will be closed by 5 p.m. and one hour grace period is given to ensure that people reach home by 6 p.m

Hyderabad: The lockdown to contain the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in Telangana has been extended for 10 more days.
At the same time, the State Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday decided to extend the lockdown relaxation till 5 pm from the present 1 pm. One hour grace time i.e., till 6 pm, will be given for people to reach their homes.
All the provisions of lockdown will be strictly implemented from 6 pm to 6 am the next day and the Police Department has been instructed to act accordingly.
Meanwhile, the lockdown relaxation will continue from 6 am to 1 pm with and one hour grace time to reach homes, in the Assembly segments of Sathupalli, Madhira, Nalgonda, Nagarjuna Sagar, Devarakonda, Munugode and Miryalaguda, where Covid-19 has not been fully contained.
As per the instructions of the last Cabinet meeting, a team of health officials visited these seven Assembly segments and reported that the coronavirus has not been fully controlled here. Accordingly, the team recommended to the Cabinet to extend the existing lockdown provision for another 10 days.
