Kothagudem: The SCR officials have conducted a trial run of a locomotive on the newly laid railway track in between Kothagudem and Sathupalli.
A diesel locomotive was operated on the line from Kothagudem to a section of the track covering Sujathanagar and other areas in the district. The test run was meant to access the track condition and to find out shortcomings if any, the officials informed.
The vehicular traffic on Kothagudem and Khammam road was diverted for some time for conducting the trial run and it caused inconvenience to the commuters as the diversion road was in bad condition due to continuous downpour.
