Lorry cabin gutted in fire near Peddapalli’s Sultanabad

A lorry caught fire near Sultanabad Mandal in Peddapalli district on Wednesday due to hot weather conditions. The driver and cleaner escaped unhurt, while the cabin was completely gutted.

Peddapalli: A lorry caught fire in the outskirts of Sultanabad mandal on Wednesday. According to local people, fire broke out in the truck engine and spread to the entire cabin, which was completely burnt. The driver and cleaner saved their lives by jumping out of the cabin.

Hot weather conditions are said to be the reason for the fire accident. The truck was carrying soil from Sultanabad to Karimnagar at the time of the incident. Knowing about the incident, fire staff rushed to the spot and put out the flames with the help of a fire engine.
