Losses in farming drive farmer to end life in Asifabad
Dakre Ramdas (44), died allegedly by suicide as he was depressed for registering losses in raising the cotton crop at Patnapur village in Jainoor mandal on Friday.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A farmer died allegedly by suicide as he was depressed for registering losses in raising the cotton crop at Patnapur village in Jainoor mandal on Friday.
Jainoor Sub-Inspector D Sagar said that Dakre Ramdas (44) attempted to commit suicide step by consuming pesticide at his farm when he suffered losses in cultivating the cotton crop.
He was immediately shifted to a hospital in Utnoor mandal centre. Doctors declared that he was brought dead. Ramdas raised the commercial crop in his two acres of land.
He was depressed when he saw losses in farming due to decline in yield of the crop. He is survived by a daughter and two sons.
