Lothukunta land issue: Supreme Court dismisses SLP over limitation
The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed the Special Leave Petition in the Lothukunta land issue on limitation grounds, HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath said. He added that HYDRAA would consult stakeholders, the State government and legal experts before deciding its next course.

Hyderabad: The Special Leave Petition (SLP) in the Lothukunta land issue was dismissed on Tuesday by the Supreme Court on technical grounds, the Hydraa Commissioner, AV Ranganath, said.
The SLP was dismissed as it was barred by limitation, having been filed 219 days after the normal appeal time of 90 days. The High Court division bench had also dealt with the appeal hit by limitation.
The Hydraa will discuss with all stakeholders, State government, and legal experts, and decide on the future course of action, Ranganath said, adding that Hydraa had, from the beginning, been mentioning that once a proper survey was done, all the facts would come out.
