Hyderabad: Loyola Academy Degree & PG College inaugurated the new committees of AICUF and MAGIC Youth with the theme “Torchbearers of Today” at Inigo Hall on September 9, 2026.

The inaugural ceremony brought together the management, faculty members, coordinators, student leaders, committee members, parents and students to mark the beginning of a new year of leadership and service.

The programme was graced by Rev. Fr. Dr. N. B. Babu, SJ, Principal; Rev. Fr. Dr. A. Rex Angelo, SJ, Correspondent; Rev. Fr. Dr. A. M. Joseph Kumar, SJ, Vice Principal; and Rev. Fr. B. Peter, SJ, Vice Principal and in-charge of the AICUF and MAGIC Youth committees, along with faculty members, parents and students.

Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Dr. A. Rex Angelo emphasised the importance of developing a service-oriented outlook and encouraged members of AICUF and MAGIC Youth to actively participate in their initiatives, contribute meaningfully to the college community and inspire their peers.

Rev. Fr. Dr. N. B. Babu, SJ, Principal, described the occasion as a Day of Commitment, highlighting discipline, responsibility and dedication as essential qualities of student leadership.

The highlight of the ceremony was the Badging Ceremony, during which badges were presented to all members of the AICUF and MAGIC Youth committees
