Loyola Academy wins Osmania University women’s volleyball tournament

Loyola Academy defeated GCPE (Domalguda) 2-0 to win the Osmania University Inter-College Women’s Volleyball Tournament. St. Ann’s College secured third place with a 2-0 win against MJPTBC. The tournament showcased competitive performances from colleges across Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Academy defeated Government College of Physical Education (Domalguda) 2-0 in the final of the Osmania University inter-college women’s volleyball tournament here.

St. Ann’s College (Mehdipatnam) settled for the third place with a 2-0 win against MJPTBC


The results: Quarterfinals: Loyola Academy Degree & PG College bt TGSWRDCW Vikarabad 2-0; MJPTBC Kesara College bt Villa Marie Women’s College 2-1; GCPE bt TGSWRDCW Budvel College 2-0; St. Ann’s Women’s College, Mehdipatnam, bt Bhavans Vivekananda College 2-1.

Semifinals: Loyola Academy bt MJPTBC Kesara 2-0; GCPE bt St. Ann’s College 2-0;.

Final: Loyola Academy bt GCPE Domalguda 2-0.

3rd place: St. Ann’s College bt MJPTBC 2-0.
