Hyderabad: Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly had a narrow escape when a lorry hit his car on the Durgapur Expressway on Thursday
The former cricketer was on his way to Burdwan, in West Bengal.
According to the police, Ganguly was travelling in his Range Rover to attend an event at Burdawan University, when the lorry abruptly braked in front of Ganguly’s convoy. Sourav Ganguly’s car was moving at a normal speed and the lorry suddenly attempted to cut into the convoy, causing vehicles to lose control.
As per available information, no one was injured and Ganguly’s car suffered a slight damage.
Later, Ganguly attended the University event, followed by another programme organised by the Burdwan Sports Association.
