Mahabubabad: Four SCR staff escape unharmed as fire guts coach at Kesamudram station
Four South Central Railway employees escaped unhurt after a fire gutted a stationary coach at Kesamudram station in Telangana on Thursday. The coach, used by track machine staff, is suspected to have caught fire due to an electrical short circuit.

Mahabubabad: Four South Central Railway (SCR) employees had a lucky escape as a fire broke out in a stationary train coach at Kesamudram railway station in the district during mid-night hours on Thursday.
A support coach set up for the rest of the railway track machine staff was halted at the railway station and four employees were sleeping in it when the coach caught fire. The alert employees opened the doors of the coach and jumped off to save their lives.
Firefighters reached the station and brought the fire into control. But the train was fully damaged by the fire. An electrical short circuit was suspected to be the reason for the accident and the railway officials launched a probe into the incident.
