Hyderabad: MAA Research Foundation on Tuesday marked the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) with an awareness walk from KBR Park to Jubilee Hills Check Post and inter-college science and technology exhibition, emphasizing the theme ‘Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future’.

Participants, including students, faculty, and community members, marched in solidarity, advocating for accessibility, breaking barriers, and fostering an inclusive society. Speaking on the occasion, MAA Group Managing Director, Sunitha G Kumar said the walk was organised as a step towards building a society where every individual, regardless of abilities, lives with dignity and equality.


MAA Institute of Speech & Hearing principal Dr. Aparna said the exhibition showcased how technology could transform lives, making the world more accessible and equitable.
