Hyderabad: Maalyada: The Sacred Garland, a dance adaptation by Rama Vaidyanathan, based on the book by Jeysundhar D, with music composition by Sudha Raghuraman, will be presented at Ravindra Bharathi on January 18 at 6.30 pm. Maalyada: The Sacred Garland, authored by Jeysundhar D, brings out the hidden meaning of the (9th-century text) Thiruppavai through casual conversations between Andal and her friends that are replete with philosophical content.
