Khammam: TRS leaders from Madhira Assembly constituency hit out at CLP leader and Madhira MLA Mallu Bhatti Virkamarka for his alleged disrespectful behaviour towards the ZP Chairman, L Kamalraj.
The party leaders addressing a press conference at Madhira in the district on Monday complained that the Congress MLA during the distribution of Kalyana Lakshmi cheques left a bad example by talking rudely with the ZP Chairman.
Vikramarka never cared about the people of Madhira and speaks in an insulting manner with elected members and officials. Because of his attitude, the reputation of Madhira constituency was being damaged in the district, said TRS leaders R Srinivas Rao and P Venkateshwar Rao.
During the Covid crisis, the CLP leader did not bother to look after the people and was making false allegations against the TRS government. The MLA should tour the constituency once to have a glance of the development achieved during the past few years, they noted.
Madhira Market Committee Chairman Ch Nageshwar Rao, ATMA Committee Chairman R Koteshwashwar Rao, municipal floor leader Appa Rao and others were present.
