Hyderabad: On a cool and cloudy Thursday, the by-poll campaign gained heat in Jubilee Hills with key candidates intensifying their voter outreach.

Continuing on the initial leads gained, BRS nominee Maganti Sunitha sought to consolidate her early campaign advantage in the constituency. Accompanied by her two daughters and several senior party leaders, she fanned out into different colonies and residential areas.

In the Vengalrao Nagar, the party workers and leaders turned the roads pink on Thursday. A large number of women participated in the campaign and the accompanying campaign vehicles rolled on playing folk songs and messages about the BRS candidate.

Former Minister, Ch Malla Reddy, walked through the roads at Vengalrao Nagar and participated in the door-to-door campaign. At Yadagiri Nagar, Maganti Sunitha received a warm welcome from the voters, mainly from the womenfolk who vowed their support to her.

She then took part in the campaign at Yadagiri Nagar and Rahmat Nagar in the Borabanda division. Vengalrao Nagar GHMC corporator and BRS leader Deedepya Rao also participated in the campaign. An occasional drizzle did not deter the BRS campaign, which continued during evening hours in several parts of the constituency.
