Hyderabad: BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed deep sorrow over the tragic stampede at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj on the occasion of Mouni Amavasya, which claimed around 30 lives. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the departed souls.

Pointing out the massive participation of crores of devotees in the Maha Kumbh, he emphasised the need for proper arrangements and safety measures to prevent such mishaps in the future.
