Mahabubabad Collector asks officials to speed up modern market works
The Collector also warned of action against the contractor if work was not started within time, and sought a regular report on the progress of work.

Mahabubabad: District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav, who inspected the construction site of the integrated vegetable and meat market in the district headquarters on Monday, directed the officials concerned to take steps for the launch of the construction work immediately.
She also warned of action against the contractor if work was not started within time, and sought a regular report on the progress of work. Abhilasha Abhinav also examined the plan for the construction. Municipal Commissioner Prasanna Rani explained to the Collector that the first block was for veg, the second block for meat, the third block for fruit and flower business, and the rest for parking on the ground floor.

Later, the Collector inspected the railway under bridge road leveling works being carried out in the town. She instructed the authorities concerned to clear the waterlogging on the road because of the leveling and repair works to the road. She further said that waterlogging on the road would cause a lot of inconvenience to the people and instructed the authorities to take up the drainage works on a war footing basis.
She advised taking steps to ensure that most of the works were completed at night without any traffic problems and added that electricity poles should also be replaced. Municipal DE Upender, R&B EE Thaneshwar, DyEE Rajender, Contractor Praveen and others accompanied the Collector.
