Mahabubabad: District Collector K Shashanka directed the concerned authorities to expedite and complete the work on the double bedroom houses at Ramachandrapuram locality here on Tuesday.
Inspecting the construction works along with the Additional Collector of Local Bodies Abhilasha Abhinav has expressed anger over the officials and contractors for the slow progress of the 2BHKs. Of the total 360 double bedroom houses, 200 houses are near completion and 160 houses are at various stages in the construction.
Shashanka also directed the Public Health officials to set up a sump and supply Mission Bhagiratha water to the houses which were completed (200).
He said municipal officials should take steps to supply water from the sump to water tanks.
To construct a septic tank and internal roads should be taken up under the Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd, he said.
