Mahabubabad: Non-Residents of India (NRIs) from the district including Vennam Siri, Venneam Vijayakanth Reddy, Ramasahayam Srinivas Reddy, Dr Tirupati Reddy Yerramreddy, and others have donated 10 beds with ceiling ventilators, pulse oximeters and other equipment worth Rs 20 lakh, said Hospital Superintendent Dr Bhukya Ventramulu.
Similarly, under the Mayur Nirman Trust, donor Venki Narayana donated Rs 21 lakh to Gudur for a 10-bed ICU unit, according to Additional Collector Abhilasha Abhinav. She visited the ICU unit at Mahabuababad area hospital and inaugurated the renovated unit here on Friday. Doctors Ramesh, Vaidehi, Nageswa Rao, Sunil Reddy and others were present.
