Mahabubnagar: District Collector S Venkat Rao directed the officials to address the claims filed under Dharani portal on a war-footing.
Addressing Tahsildhar through a video conference on Thursday, Rao specifically instructed the officials to focus on addressing all the issues and claims filed under Dharani portal by Monday.
All the pending applications filed under Dharani portal should be taken up on priority basis and addressed at the earliest, he said.
He said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was personally monitoring the Dharani system at the State level while IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao was focusing on pending issues and applications. “Hence, Tahsildars should focus on addressing all the pending applications,” he said, adding: “Tahsildars should commence registrations by 9 am everyday. A time frame should be set for pending mutations, successions and other applications and they should be addressed accordingly.”
There are 2,527 cases pending in the district, besides 49 succession cases. All these should be addressed at the earliest, he said. In case of applications pertaining to prohibited lands, the Collector instructed the officials to check the records and update them immediately. Focus should be on ensuring that farmers do not face any inconvenience, he directed the officials.
