Hyderabad: The most awaited SUV of the Year – XUV700 was launched at Automotive Jubilee Hills, by the company’s Regional Head, Bhoopesh Kumar in the presence of AMPL Motors CEO, KA Narayana, filmmaker, Tammareddy Bharadwaj and others.

The newly unveiled Mahindra XUV700 (pronounced as XUV, 7 double ‘Oh’) the majestic convoy rolled into Hyderabad. The bookings for the vehicle will start on October 7 and deliveries starting date is to be announced by October 10. The deliveries of petrol variants are expected to precede that of diesel variants.

The sensuous and sophisticated exterior of the XUV700 presents an extremely aerodynamic design for an SUV and the XUV700 will be available in gasoline as well as all aluminium diesel engines with new generation 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.

The powerful 2 litre Turbo GDi mStallion Engine (gasoline) spools out 380 Nm of Torque between 1750 and 3000 rpm and develops 200 PS at 5000 rpm and the engine provides refined motoring and linear power delivery, the release said adding that safety is one of the core pillars of the XUV700 experience and it incorporates many path breaking safety features.
