Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat on Friday inaugurated the renovated old quarters building near the Malkajgiri DCP office and Officers Dining Hall at the Commissioner’s office at Neredmet. The renovation work was taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 20 lakh, officials said.
Bhagwat, along with Additional commissioner of police G Sudheer Babu, inspected the new parking area and Miyawaki plantation done in the premises. The Commissioner said the renovated quarters will now accommodate the police stores, recruitment cell, and CLUES team apart from using as waiting hall for drivers and special party at the office.
Sudheer Babu appreciated Reserve Inspector Vijayanand, estate officer and the staff who ensured quick completion of the building renovation.
