Hyderabad: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) unveiled its most advanced electric three-wheeler yet, the Mahindra UDO, which draws inspiration from an airplane and envisages the auto as a “autoplane”.
The word ‘UDO’ in Hindi means ‘to fly’ and the Mahindra UDO will give wings to customer’s aspirations and help them soar to greater heights in life. It is priced attractively at Rs.384299, ex-showroom, but for a limited period, the UDO will be offered for Rs.358999.
The traditional auto design, unchanged globally since 1948, has long neglected driver and passenger comfort. India is the largest 3W EV market in the world, and it is natural that the country’s e-auto pioneer steps in and lead the change. The revolutionary design of new autorickshaw is poised to elevate the dignity of auto drivers, transforming their professional image and ownership experience, a press release said.
Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, said, “Built on deep customer insights, Mahindra UDO has been reimagined from the ground up to bring together safety, comfort, design and performance.”
