Mahindra University awards degrees to 1,309 graduates
Mahindra University conferred degrees on 1,309 students, including 22 PhD scholars, during its fifth convocation in Hyderabad. Chancellor Anand Mahindra and Bajaj Auto MD Rajiv Bajaj addressed graduates, while the university also inaugurated the new Bajaj Engineering Skills Training Centre
Hyderabad: A total of 1,309 students graduated during the fifth convocation of Mahindra University held here on Sunday. Degrees were conferred on graduating students across the Schools of Engineering, Management, Law, Media, Education, Design and other academic programmes, along with 22 PhD scholars. During the ceremony, 29 meritorious students received gold medals in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.
Addressing the gathering, Mahindra University Chancellor Anand Mahindra said the Class of 2026 has grown up in a world where ‘once in a lifetime’ seems to happen every year. “Navigating such a world requires two superpowers: the ability to evolve through extraordinary change, and the inner strength and a larger sense of purpose,” he said.
Bajaj Auto Limited Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj said technology is evolving faster than business models. “Competitive advantage lies less in what you know and more in how quickly you learn, adapt and execute. Success will come from developing depth, discipline and the courage to make independent decisions,” he said.
Meanwhile, the new Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) Centre, the university’s latest initiative to advance industry-integrated learning, was inaugurated.
