Major fire at auto service centres triggers panic in Amberpet

A major fire broke out at automobile service centres in Amberpet, spreading from a Mahindra unit to nearby establishments, including a Renault showroom. Firefighters rushed to control the blaze. No casualties were reported, while damage assessment is underway.

Hyderabad: A major fire broke out at a commercial establishment near 6 Number Circle in Amberpet on Monday, triggering widespread panic.

The blaze reportedly erupted at a business premises along the busy Amberpet stretch and spread rapidly, damaging portions of several adjacent shops.


Thick plumes of smoke billowed into the sky, causing alarm in the surrounding area.

Upon being alerted, the fire services and police personnel arrived at the scene, deploying multiple fire tenders to combat the blaze.

Firefighters battled the flames for several hours and are working to bring the situation under control.

While no casualties have been reported thus far, the extent of the property damage is expected to be significant.

The exact cause of the fire was unknown, officials said.
