Major fire breaks out in scrap warehouse in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A major fire broke at a plastic scrap warehouse at Lalitha Bagh in the old city on Friday morning. No casualties were reported.

Officials suspect a short circuit led to the fire. Local residents saw the fire and alerted the Fire department and police, following which a fire engine was rushed to the spot and doused the fire.


The cost of the property damaged is estimated to be over Rs.10 lakh.

The police are investigating.
