Major fire in Nampally causes traffic disruptions, Numaish visitors advised to postpone
A fire at a furniture shop in Nampally caused heavy traffic disruptions on Saturday. Hyderabad Traffic Police and District Collector Harichandana Dasari advised commuters to use alternate routes and visitors to postpone their trip to the Numaish exhibition.

Hyderabad: As a major fire accident at a furniture shop in Nampally on Saturday afternoon led to severe traffic congestion, the Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a public advisory and appealing the visitors to postpone their visit to Numaish exhibition
With emergency services engaged in firefighting and rescue operations, traffic restrictions were imposed on surrounding roads. In view of the disruption, police urged visitors to postpone their visit to the Numaish exhibition for the day to avoid inconvenience. Commuters were further advised to take alternative routes as clearance operations continued.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad District Collector Harichandana Dasari also cautioned visitors about restricted access at Numaiah. In a press release, she said that due to the fire accident, vehicles heading towards Nampally and surrounding areas were redirected to alternative routes.
