Major IAS reshuffle in Telangana, changes made in CMO and departments

The Telangana government transferred 13 IAS officers across departments, including the Chief Minister's Office, and assigned additional responsibilities to several officials. The reshuffle also gave Vinay Kumar Full Additional Charge as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests till further orders.

Hyderabad: In yet another transfer of IAS officers in Telangana, the State government on Friday issued orders transferring 13 IAS officers across departments, including the Chief Minister’s Office.

B Ajith Reddy, IDES, serving as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Invest Telangana, I&C Department. N Sridhar, Principal Secretary (Mines & Geology), Industries & Commerce Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Sabyasachi Ghosh, Special Chief Secretary (Implementation of Flagship Welfare & Developmental Schemes Unit and Corporate Social Responsibility), has been placed in Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post of Special Chief Secretary to Government (Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts), I&C Department, as Shailaja Ramaiyer has been transferred. He has also been given the FAC of Director, Handlooms & Textiles, VC & MD, TG Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd and Managing Director, TGCO, duly relieving Shailaja Ramaiyer from the FAC of the said posts. Sabyasachi Ghosh continues to hold the FAC as Special Chief Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department and Special Chief Secretary, Welfare.

Shailaja Ramaiyer, Principal Secretary (Endowments), Revenue Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology Department, as Ahmad Nadeem has been transferred. She has been given FAC as Principal Secretary (Endowments), Revenue Department, and FAC as Director General, EPTRI, duly relieving Ahmad Nadeem from the FAC of the post.

On transfer, Ahmad Nadeem has been posted as Principal Secretary to Government (Political), GAD, duly relieving M Raghunandan Rao from the FAC of the said post.

He has been given FAC as Principal Secretary, Minorities Welfare Department.

On return from leave, Rahul Bojja has been posted as Principal Secretary, Disaster Management, Revenue Department, duly relieving Harichandana Dasari from the FAC of the post. He continues to hold the FAC of Principal Secretary, BC Welfare Department.

M Raghunandan Rao, Secretary to Government (CT & Excise), Revenue Department, has been given FAC as Secretary (Mines & Geology), Industries & Commerce Department, as N Sridhar has been transferred.

Md Musharraf Ali Faruqui, Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana Rythu Power Distribution Company Limited (TGRPDCL), has been placed in FAC of the post of VC & MD, TGREDCO.

P Katyayani Devi, Joint Managing Director, State Finance Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary (Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts), I&C Department. She has also been given FAC as Joint Managing Director, State Finance Corporation.

K Gangadhar, Executive Director, TGRERA, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, R&B, TR&B Department, as P Pravinya has been transferred.

T Venkanna, Joint Metropolitan Commissioner (Core Urban Region & Metro Rail), HMDA, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), duly relieving Chahat Bajpai from FAC of the said post.

K Vidyasagar, Joint Director (Admn.), SSLR, working as OSD to the Chief Secretary, has been transferred and posted as Director, Tourism. He has been given FAC as State Nodal Officer, Prajavani, duly relieving D Divya from the FAC of the said post.

K Chandrakala, Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, Shamshabad, has been placed in FAC of the post of Joint Metropolitan Commissioner (Core Urban Region, Land Pooling & Metro Rail), HMDA.

Vinay Kumar given FAC as new PCCF, Telangana

The State government has given 1992-batch IFS officer Vinay Kumar, the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden (CWLW), Full Additional Charge as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF) till further orders.

PCCF C Suvarna is attaining superannuation on June 30.
