Karimnagar: Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Thursday instructed officials to make elaborate arrangements for Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s visit to Huzurabad on August 16.
The Minister visited the public meeting venue near Shalapalli and inspected the arrangements. Later, he conducted a review meeting with Ministers and officials.

Harish Rao instructed the officials to arrange 10 blocks at the meeting venue. Out of ten, five blocks should be arranged for women and the remaining five for public representatives and public. Separate blocks should be arranged for VIPs and the media. He also instructed Transco SE to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the meeting and arrange generators as standby.

Stating that 825 buses had been arranged to bring beneficiaries to the meeting venue, he asked officials to deploy an in-charge officer for each bus and supply food packets in the buses itself. The Minister instructed the DMHO to deploy ANMs at every entry point of the meeting venue and supply face masks to the people if anybody comes without masks.

SC Corporation Chairman Banda Srinivas and District Agriculture officer V Sreedhar were appointed as dais in-charges. According to dais protocol, only Ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, ZP Chairman, Municipal Chairperson of Huzurabad constituency, Market Committee Chairman, MPPs, and ZPTCs would be allowed onto the dais.

Harish Rao advised officials to stop buses carrying the beneficiaries half-a-km away from the venue to avoid traffic jam near the venue.

Ministers Gangula Kamalakar, Koppula Eashwar, SC Corporation Chairman Banda Srinivas, District Collector RV Karnan, Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana and others participated in the review meeting.
