Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday instructed the officials to make all arrangements for Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s visit to Siddipet on June 20.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate the new integrated District Collectorate complex building and Police Commissionerate building built at Duddeda along Rajiv Rahadari near Siddipet. The Chief Minister will also inaugurate Siddipet MLA camp office during his visit.
In view of the Chief Minister’s scheduled visit, the Finance Minister along with Collector P Venkatrami Reddy and Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis visited the ready to inaugurate Collectorate and Commissionerate buildings on Wednesday.
Earlier, the Minister also visited the MLA Camp office building, which was built at Housing Board Colony in Siddipet. He also examined the progress of the works of the Police Officer’s Welfare Function Hall, which is being built at Ponnala.
The Collectorate and Commissionerate buildings were built in 50 acres and 29 acres respectively by spending over Rs 81 crores. The Integrated office complexes were also having Camp offices of Collector, Commissioner and other officials and staff. He examined the works and instructed them to complete the leftover works besides shifting the officers in the next couple of days.
