Hyderabad: TRS working president and Minister KT Rama Rao urged the party cadre to turn up in large numbers for the Telangana Vijaya Garjana public meeting scheduled to be held in Warangal on November 15, and make it a grand success. He asked the party leaders to facilitate the attendance of all the party cadre and ensure that there was representation from every village in the State.
As per the directions of TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the party working president kick-started the preparatory meetings with key leaders from 20 Assembly constituencies at Telangana Bhavan on Monday. He reviewed the constituency-wise arrangements during the meeting.
Rama Rao wanted the party leaders to ensure attendance of at least 10 lakh people for the Telangana Vijaya Garjana which is being held to mark two decades of TRS’ formation. He advised them to put aside any differences and work together for the success of the public meeting in Warangal as well as the party plenary schedule to be held at Hitex in Hyderabad on October 25.
Only 6,000 members are being invited for the party plenary in Hyderabad on October 25, for which invitations will be sent to select party leaders and elected representatives. However, the party leaders were directed to actively make preparations for the public meeting in Warangal immediately. They were advised to complete the constituency level preparatory meetings before October 27.
TRS secretary general K Keshava Rao, Ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Puvvada Ajay, P Sabitha Indra Reddy, G Jagadish Reddy, S Niranjan Reddy and V Srinivas Goud along with MPs, MLAs and MLCs, attended the meeting.
