Mumbai: Bollywood diva Malaika Arora has shared her mantra for maintaining confidence, even on days when she doesn’t feel her best.
In a conversation with IANS, Malaika said: “I remind myself it’s okay to have off days. Moving my body, practicing gratitude, and owning my flaws always bring me back to center.”
Talking about her fashion choices, often trendsetting, and how she balances comfort with glamour, the star — who is the brand ambassador for HYUE — added: “For me, glamour should never come at the cost of comfort. True style is when you can walk into a room looking stunning but still feel like yourself.”
Malaika began her career as an MTV India VJ before entering the modelling world, appearing in numerous ads and music albums, including Bally Sagoo’s Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha opposite Jas Arora. She rose to Bollywood fame with chartbusters like Chaiyya Chaiyya (Dil Se, 1998), Maahi Ve (2002), Kaal Dhamaal (2005), and Munni Badnaam Hui (2010).
As an actress, she featured in films such as Kaante (2002) and EMI (2008). On television, she has judged shows including India’s Got Talent, MTV Supermodel of the Year (2019), and India’s Best Dancer (2020).
A dedicated fitness enthusiast, Malaika is a committed yoga practitioner and frequently shares wellness insights on social media. On August 4, she posted a video demonstrating the benefits of Surya Namaskar, showcasing the 12-posture sequence step by step.
