Malavika Anand to perform Lata Mangeshkar tribute in Hyderabad

Hyderabad-based classical and devotional singer Malavika Anand will perform a special live concert titled Lag Ja Gale as a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar on December 29 at Telangana Saraswath Parishad Hall, Ramkote.

Hyderabad: Noted classical, devotional singer Malavika Anand will perform live in a special tribute titled ‘Lag Ja Gale’ to Lata Mangeshkar on Monday, December 29, at Telangana Saraswath Parishad Hall, Ramkote.

The talented musician from Hyderabad, Malavika Anand, has done more than 700 music concerts across India and abroad. The most memorable event was when she performed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Hyderabad.


The singer was also invited to perform in the World Famous Mysore Palace during Dasara Festival. Malavika has recorded three CD albums and can sing in eight different languages.

At present, Malavika is learning Carnatic music from Hyderabad Sisters Hari Priya and devotional and light music from Nitya Santoshini. The singer is not only into music but also pursuing her post-graduation in Business Management and presently working in an MNC, a press release added.
