Malayalam action thriller ‘Marco’ surges ahead at B.O, grosses over Rs 31 crore

Directed by Haneef Adeni, produced by Shareef Muhammed, and featuring Unni Mukundan in the lead role, the high-octane action thriller movie has had an impressive and strong opening weekend.
A spin-off of the 2019 film ‘Michael’, the revenge drama sees the character of Marco from the earlier film developed into a full-fledged lead role. As promised, the makers have succeeded in delivering a superhit story, that has been drawing all sections of audiences into the theatres.
The movie, which has been released worldwide in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi is making steady progress, maintaining strong momentum and garnering viewers’ and critics’ attention. The movie has succeeded in making a huge impact on the box-office thereby positively affecting its collections.
The film, which has Kabir Duhan Singh in the role of an antagonist, sees an ensemble cast of Jagadish, Siddique, Anson Paul, Yukti Thareja, Riyaz Khan, Jinu Joseph, and Sreejith Ravi in key roles. The Telugu version of the movie is currently running in theatres in both the Telugu-speaking States.
