Malkajgiri police order closure of bars, wine and toddy shops on Sri Ramanavami

Malkajgiri police have ordered the closure of wine shops, toddy shops, and restaurant-attached bars (excluding star hotels and registered clubs) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on March 26 for Sri Ramanavami. Violators will face prosecution.

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri police have ordered closure of wine shops and toddy shops and bars attached to restaurants (excluding bars in star hotels and registered clubs) in the commissionerate limits, between 10 am to 10 pm on March 27, on account of Sri Ramanavami.

Malkajgiri Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty issued closure orders in this regard on Thursday. Any person found violating the orders will be prosecuted, the commissioner warned in the order.
