Malkajgiri traffic police nab 223 drunk drivers
The Malkajgiri traffic police booked 223 people for drunken driving during weekend checks. Most offenders were two-wheeler riders, while nine drivers recorded extremely high blood alcohol levels. All the accused have been asked to appear before court.

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri traffic police, during the weekend, caught 223 persons for drunken driving and booked cases against them.
Among those caught are 194 two-wheeler riders, eight three-wheeler riders, and 21 four-wheelers. Nine persons had a BAC level above 301 mg/100 ml.
Cases have been booked and all of them have been asked to appear before the court for legal proceedings, said a traffic police official.
