Hyderabad: Malla Reddy University (MRU) in collaboration with Motivity Labs has launched a Techno Innovation Centre (TIC) that will provide students with real-time experience through internships and nurture the spirit of technological innovation and creativity, a press release said. The MRU, which has entered into a MoU with Motivity Labs, said that a stipend of Rs 10,000 will be paid to third year students who get on-boarded.

The core objectives of TIC is to offer technology exchange programs, expose students to real-time industry environment through internships, impart trainings in emerging fields of technology, facilitate technology certifications, organize ideation programs to promote innovation and start-ups, support in marketing & promoting the innovation, provide awareness and encourage students towards global higher education and guide students on career opportunities globally and also as entrepreneur.

This Techno Centre will also act as an incubator for promising start-ups by mentoring them for commercialization of their ideas, by providing an integrated package of working space, access to specialized testing and fabricating equipment, software tools for design and analysis and other value-added services.

The MoU ceremony was graced by Ch Malla Reddy, Founder Chairman, Malla Reddy University, Joseph Sudheer Thumma, CEO, Motivity-MRUH Techno Innovation Centre, Dr. VSK. Reddy, VC, MRUH, Ch. Mahender Reddy, Secretary, Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, Dr. Ch. Bhadra Reddy, president, Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, Dr. Y. Madhavi Latha, Principal, MRECW and other dignitaries.
